The I Am Well Mental Health & Psychoeducational Initiative is a collaborative community-wellness program that provides counseling support, mental-health education, psychoeducational groups, and connections to trusted resources. Through the combined efforts of Serenity Outreach, Synergia Behavioral Health & Solutions, SoulPath Counseling and Therapeutic Services, and other community partners, participants receive support in a welcoming, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed environment.

Group sessions and community events address stress and anxiety management, healthy coping skills, self-care, emotional regulation, resilience, communication, healthy relationships, and overall mental wellness. The initiative is designed to reduce stigma, encourage early intervention, strengthen individuals and families, and help participants access the support they need to heal, grow, and move forward.

Serenity Family Stabilization Program

Serenity Outreach’s Family Stabilization Program helps individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, utility disconnection, unemployment, or other household crises. The program combines short-term emergency assistance with strengths-based case management to address immediate needs while helping families build long-term stability.

Each participating household completes a comprehensive assessment and works with a Family Support Coordinator to develop an Individualized Family Stabilization Plan. Services may include rent and utility assistance, housing navigation, benefits enrollment, budgeting and financial-literacy education, employment support, parenting and co-parenting education, mental-health referrals, transportation assistance, and connections to trusted community resources. Financial assistance is based on eligibility, documented need, and available funding.

The program’s goal is to prevent homelessness, reduce repeated household crises, strengthen family functioning, increase financial stability, and help families develop the skills, resources, and support systems needed to achieve lasting self-sufficiency.

The Talents-2-Work Workforce Development Program helps job seekers, young adults, returning citizens, and career changers turn their skills into employment opportunities. Participants receive career coaching, résumé and application assistance, interview preparation, digital-skills training, job-readiness support, employer connections, and access to employment expos.

H.O.P.E.

Helping Other People Evolve

Serenity Outreach’s H.O.P.E. Program is a community-based outreach and stabilization initiative serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and financial hardship. Through mobile outreach, community events, and collaborative partnerships, H.O.P.E. provides food, water, clothing, shoes, blankets, hygiene products, transportation assistance, resource navigation, and referrals for housing, employment, benefits, mental-health services, and other essential support.

A core service of the program is Laundry of Hope, which provides individuals experiencing homelessness or hardship with access to free laundry services, detergent, and personal-care supplies. Clean clothing supports health, restores dignity and confidence, and helps individuals prepare for employment interviews, medical appointments, housing meetings, and other opportunities.

The annual H.O.P.E. Holiday Market is one of the program’s signature outreach events. It creates a dignified, no-cost shopping experience where unhoused neighbors can select clothing, shoes, coats, blankets, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and other essential items based on their individual needs. The event also brings community partners together to offer meals, haircuts, showers, transportation assistance, health and wellness support, housing resources, and connections to ongoing services.

H.O.P.E. goes beyond meeting immediate needs. Using a person-centered and solution-focused approach, the program builds trusted relationships, removes barriers, and connects each person with practical resources that support stability, independence, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Serenity Pathways Housing Solutions

Serenity Pathways Housing Solutions is Serenity Outreach’s housing-stabilization initiative designed to help individuals and families move from homelessness, housing insecurity, and crisis toward safe, stable, and sustainable housing.
